Fall Fest 2024

​Fall Fest was an afternoon event near our Cherry Hill offices for youth, neighbors, and representatives from: Councilwoman Phylicia Porter’s office, Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism, Baltimore Beat, UMBC community engaged learning and social work students, and MissionFit. Activities included: barbering services, a potting table for houseplants, face painting, tote bag decorating, games such as Uno and cornhole/bags, making dog and cat toys (community service for BARCs and a cat rescue operation), a DJ and line dancing, and a talking post where participants could provide testimony about themselves and current events, recorded by Digital Empath Studios. The activities offered opportunities for play and community-building.
