The idea of TRHT Campus Centers was designed to engage and empower campus and community stakeholders to break down racial hierarchies and create a positive narrative about race in the community.

Welcome to our Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation campus center. We are the Shriver Center at UMBC and we are committed to dismantling white supremacy by implementing anti-racist practices in our programs, initiatives and organizational processes. Specifically, through our social justice-oriented approach we are disrupting the historical and present repercussions of racism.

"TRHT's vision and purpose is to improve our capacity as communities and as a country to see ourselves in each other, so that we can share a more equitable future with opportunities for every child and family to thrive."

-W.K. Kellogg Foundation

Partnership with community and thought partners is also a focal point of our campus center. We use the constantly evolving model shown below to facilitate our partnerships.
